If you thought that it was warmer last year and this winter, yes it was.

The US government department, NOAA, while not using the label GLOBAL WARMING, said it in so many words:

"This reflects the long-term warming trend both in the U.S. and globally. U.S. and global annual temperatures are now approximately 1.0°F warmer than at the start of the 20th century, and the rate of warming has accelerated over the past 30 years, increasing globally since the mid-1970's at a rate approximately three times faster than the century-scale trend."

For those of us in the spacecoast we will have to get use to higher FPL electric bills for winter, not because of heating, but because of air conditioning!
